Japanese Maple (acer palmatum ‘kamagata’)
The Kamagata is a slow growing cultivar with 7 lobed palmate (deeply divided) serrated leaves which emerge yellow-green with bronze red margins. They become light green in summer, then lovely shades of yellow and orange in autumn. Deciduous. Keep outdoors. 15 years old. 22″x18″x32″. Potted in a 12″ ceramic blue rectangle container as shown.
